Founded in Ravenna in 1998, the company deals with the development of renewable energies: from the design of systems to their installation and maintenance. Today Qint’x is a SME with an international spirit with foreign offices in Hong Kong (China), Reading (UK), Vienna (Austria), Palo Alto (California), Rotterdam (NL). In Italy it has installed over 150 wind turbines and built more than 20 photovoltaic parks. Considered an important SME in the national energy scene, it has the right skills and competences to develop and build offshore parks in Italy, in the Adriatic Sea.

We collaborate with the Master in Offshore engineering of Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna for the joint development of our floating photovoltaic systems. This partnership allows us to use the state-of-the-art laboratories that the university owns in Bologna campus to improve our R&D efforts. Furthermore, we can count on an exchange of talents, welcoming students for curricular and thesis internships related to our plants. Together with UniBo, we are also starting the application for the concession of a sea stretch off the coast of Ravenna to serve as a marine laboratory in which to carry out testing activities.
